Support Manipulators

Support manipulators are used in underground roadway development operations with Type A roof bolting (roof-bolting at the face) for the installation of steel arch supports.

Generally GTA distinguishes between two types of support manipulator:

Crawler track manipulator and
Monorail manipulator

Support Manipulator M 2000 RS

M2000 RS A crawler track enables the M 2000 RS Support Manipulator to move on the floor of the gallery. Equipped with a quick-release device several working tools can be mounted. Combined with a gripper head for the steel arch support it is used for setting steel arches in underground roadways. Equipped with a pipe clamp it can also be used to install pipes. If a backhoe is mounted the machine serves as a loading device.

Support Manipulator M 2000

M2000 The M 2000 Support Manipulator is used for setting steel arches and travels on the floor of the roadway on crawler tracks.

Support Manipulator M 2000 EHB

M2000 EHB

The M 2000 EHB Support Manipulator is suspended from and travels on an overhead rail and is used wherever the space restrictions do not permit the deployment of a floor-bound manipulator.
